Good morning Revolution family it’s week 4 already. Remember we will be playing games as they are scheduled. Looking at the weather report we may have a full day of football this Saturday September 29th. 8 am Steelers vs. Panthers. Steelers are on a 2 game win streak looking to pick up number 3 against the Panthers whom they defeated in week 1. Despite torrential rain fall the Steelers continued to work their passing game finding Chelsea Stanley with 2 big passes then Jacorian Hatchett for a 30 yard touchdown. The Panthers are 0-1 going into this game due to back to back weather cancellations. 10 am Raiders vs. Mohawks. Raiders are 0-2 coming into this game after taking a beating in their season opener they showed tremendous improvement last week against the Steelers both on offense and defense. Their loss last week was unfortunately caused by being down 13 – 6 when multiple lightning strikes forced the game to be called. At 12 pm Jr. Panthers vs Texans. The Panthers are 1-0 last week they defeated the Seahawks 41-0. Their linemen pack size and power led by Christian Barrera. Both Jamari Dawson and Cole Shepherd were able to get behind their solid line and march down the field at will. Their defense was also relentless keeping there opponent scoreless. The Texans are coming from a close week 1 loss 12- 6 to the Jr. Steelers. Texans quarterback Sawyer Buzbee had the only touchdown for his team on a 30 yard qb run which was opened up by a ton of carries and yards from their swift running back Judd Stabler who had a great game. Whitney Hollins and Christopher Patterson were both huge on defense keeping the game close with a bulk of the teams tackles. 2 PM Seahawks vs.Jr. Steelers. The Seahawks took a major loss last week against the Jr. Panthers, but at times showed rays of hope with running back Kamari Wilfong making a big 50 yard run down to the 25 yard line, but the Seahawks couldn’t finish the drive. Also quarterback Sammy Veal Jr. had a few good passes connecting with wide receiver Jacob multiple times. Running back Kolton Parker also contributed with some good running yardage. The Jr. Steelers look to keep rolling this week with the three headed monster offense led by Jayden Lane including Joshua Stanley and Jackson Taylor. Their defense is quick and very reactive. LET’S GO REVOLUTION!!!!!!
